What is Ekam Tapas?

Ekam Tapas is a 42-day, 6-week long transformational journey, designed with thoughtful precision by Sri Preethaji and Sri Krishnaji, co-founders of Ekam World Center for Enlightenment in southern India. It consists of a powerful series of mystic processes and practices that take place both in Ekam, a mystic powerhouse, and in the heart of nature, amidst the ancient hills and forests surrounding Ekam itself.

The Vision is to help create a group of 78,000 humans who live free of all forms of suffering, to help impact human evolution.

What is at the heart of Ekam Tapas?

Ekam Tapas is Divinely powered by the Enlightened modern sages, Sri Preethaji and Sri Krishnaji: by the power of the Divine or Universal Intelligence: and by the power of the mystic processes. This formula allows for something profound to unfold and for Enlightenment to happen.

Ekam Tapas aims at clearing 6 distinct mind obstacles, called Maras, establishing the participant in a state of unperturbed calm, which is the very foundation of Enlightenment.


What is Enlightenment?

Enlightenment is the most celebrated pursuit in the history of humanity, which humans have sought for 1000s of years. Enlightenment is the state of living free from all forms of suffering.

Enlightenment is no longer the fruit born of decades of solitary living and seclusion from society, nor is it for the monk or elder who has given up all their hard-earned worldly possessions. Enlightenment is for the banker, the mother, the student, the child. It’s for CEOS and influencers; dancers, artists, and, people who care about each other and the earth. It’s for retirees who have fulfilled their career passion and for those just starting on their career path.

Enlightenment is a reality that is happening NOW on the Ekam Tapas journey.


Who is eligible to apply and participate? What is the Age Limit?

People from all age groups, all backgrounds, and from every nation, come to Ekam Tapas with one quest in mind: to live fully engaged with life and other in a joyful creative, powerful and impactful way, free of fear and disappointment. Ekam Tapas is for anyone who would like to make a difference in their lives, the lives of those they love, and the world.

Anyone between the ages of 16 and 75 may apply, and upon selected will be welcomed.

How would youth benefit from Ekam Tapas?

Krishnaji, co-founder of Ekam, became enlightened at the age of 11. He has lived a powerful life as a successful, global business owner and now has the power to impact millions on their journey to Enlightenment. He and his wife, Sri Preethaji are parents themselves who’s sole vision and purpose to help humanity on the journey of Enlightenment.

Sri Preethaji and Sri Krishnaji believe our youth should be enlightened as early as possible, so they can grow into conscious, impactful leaders. Our youth are the future of the world.

What would a young person take back home from Ekam Tapas?

The gifts for a young person are immense: the chatter of the mind is silenced, and the mind becomes clear. Distraction of the mind is dropped and you awaken to focused thinking and sustained attention, which allows for greater efficiency with anything you set your mind to. You develop a greater awareness of the connectedness of all life, which sets the ground work for living with extraordinary contribution and purpose. You become a fearless student of life and joyful in all of your pursuits.

What happens when family members participate in Ekam Tapas?

When family members attend Ekam Tapas together, the impact is immense. Imagine: the more enlightened families and communities there are, the more society as a whole will change, from the inside out. On a practical note, when established in a state of calm, one is equipped to navigate any storm or challenge that may arise, regardless of how minute or monumental. This means relationships, academics, decision-making processes, personal endeavors on any scale, and family dynamics all easily happen and progress healthfully.

Can you imagine life and relationships flowing like this? Grounded in a state of calm and equanimity, no challenge is too overwhelming and reaching goals becomes effortless. Regardless of age, this is what happens to participants who attend Ekam Tapas.

What might a typical day look like during the Ekam Tapas journey?

Ekam Tapas puts you into a discipline of delightful, simple living that begins at sunrise each day. Regular practices of yoga and meditation, a sacred connection with the Divine in your heart, intimate bonding with nature, and a challenging depth of insights is the daily flow.

The days end in observing the sunset, gratitude and celebration.

What are the accommodations like?

Participants may choose from two different campus and lifestyles options:

Turiya Campus: Dormitory-style living with shared bathrooms; A/C, fans and WiFi. Approximately 16 people per room.

Sattva Campus: Standard or Executive rooms with bathroom, A/C and fan, for double occupancy.

All meals, daily laundry services, processes, and campus-to-campus transportation are included in accommodation fee.

EKAM Tapas Eligibility

EKAM Tapas Weeks 1-4 is for anyone who has attended at least one Manifest Series online program with Sri Preethaji.

Weeks 1 - 4 ~ January 23rd - February 19th

Weeks 1 & 2 ~ January 23rd - February 5th

Weeks 3 & 4 ~ February 6th - February 19th

Tapas Week 5 is only for those who have completed the first four weeks of Tapas and is done strictly by selection process.
