According to local law enforcement and news outlets the famous Rapper, also known as Robert Thornton was shot after walking into a store to purchase cookies. The exact details are unknown, but it is claimed that somebody approacehed the star in a car and fatally shot him. 

The star is well known in the local area, and was there only recently helping promote it. He's also well known in the music world; In 2016, he released the debut studio album, King of Memphis, which peaked at number 49 on the Billboard 200 chart. 

He was featured on O.T. Genasis' hit single "Cut It", which peaked at number 35 on the Billboard Hot 100. Young Dolph's seventh album, Rich Slave, was released in 2020 and became his highest-charting project, debuting at number four on the Billboard 200. On November 17, 2021, he was shot and killed in Memphis, Tennessee.

Many fans and local people to the area have already being payng tibutes to the young Rapper, who was only 36; Police are yet to identify a suspect. The case is still ongoing.
